The Mission of First Baptist Church Of Belton is to lead people to experience a growing relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ. We exist to seek God through worship and discipleship, serve others through ministry and fellowship, and share faith through evangelism and missions.

Nick Kirby serves as Senior Pastor. Nick graduated from Anderson University in 2008 with a degree in Christian Ministries and received his Masters of Ministry from Anderson University in 2014. Nick has been serving First Baptist Belton in several different capacities for over twelve years; he began working as the interim youth minister in 2009. He became the Associate Pastor in 2019.
Nick is married to Whitney and they have three children- Hudson, Charlie and Harper. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and golf.

Matt Wurst serves at Belton First Baptist as Associate Pastor for Youth. Matt grew up in Anderson, South Carolina and graduated from Clemson University in 1997 with a B.A. in Social Studies Education. He obtained a Masters degree in Sports Management in 2002 from the United States Sports Academy. In 2005 Matt became a National Board-Certified teacher. He has been a school teacher and coach at Belton-Honea Path High School since 2000 where he also serves as the FCA Huddle Coach. Matt has been involved at Belton First Baptist since 2006.
Matt and his wife, Amy, married in 1998. They have two children; Jacob is a Medical school student at South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville and Grace is a student at Anderson University where she is studying Elementary Education. Matt loves watching sports, especially the Chicago Cubs and Clemson football, and spending time with his family.
